Youth Rights

I believe that children and youth are fully human and deserve to be treated as such. In working with me, you are agreeing to take an honest and vulnerable approach to examining any known or unknown anti-child biases that exist in our society and therefore creep into our mindsets. Together, we will always choose to acknowledge, respect, and honor a child's personhood.

Scope of Practice

I have worn many hats in my career; therapist is not one of them. I am not a doctor, nor do I have medical training. I am a coach and consultant. If in our work together, I feel that you might need support beyond my own scope of practice, I will communicate that to you and help you find the resources you need. Hi! I'm Annie Friday.

Are you ready to strengthen connections with the young people in their life? I consider myself an Architect of Conscious Caregiving, here to help you design the plan that brings your values and your vision into action with intentionality.

Being in right relationship with kids is both an art and a science. I'll cover the science through topics like brain development, nervous system science, and attachment theory. Together, we'll discover the art by looking at themes like identifying values, establishing needs, and having empowered conversations. We'll practice bringing awareness to your brain-body connection so that you can respond versus react. We'll do this through creating moments of play, storytelling, and emotional exploration with you and your young people.

I believe that you will give the best care when you feel prepared, peaceful, and playful. You'll be able to do that with an escape route out of the heat of your hot button moments as you move toward the expansiveness of curious and conscious co-regulation.
